Hello,
I have two models of the same building, both are reporting unmet heating
hours.
The first is a packaged VAV system with 2 HVAC system definitions:
. Core zones are served by DX coils for cooling and hot water
heating coils
. It is a packaged VAV system with HW reheat
. Perimeter zones have no cooling and HW baseboards
. BEPS report indicates 69.6% of hours with any zone outside of
throttling range
The second is a heat pump system also with 2 HVAC system definitions:
. Core zones are served by DX cooling coils and heat pump for
heating
. It is a ground-source heat pump system
. Perimeter zones have no cooling with HW baseboards
. BEPS report indicates 44.5% of hours with any zone outside of
throttling range
Plant load is satisfied in both cases.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
