Dear all,
When submitting the LEED Online templates, I am asked to enter the:
a. Number of hrs heating loads not met
b. Number of hrs cooling loads not met
Are these the same as the BEPS report's "HOURS ANY ZONE ABOVE COOLING
THROTTLING RANGE" and "HOURS ANY ZONE BELOW HEATING THROTTLING RANGE" ?
OR
Shall I add the hours of each month of every zone (the last 2 columns of
SS-F Zone Demand Summary for each zone)? (HOURS UNDERHEATED & HOURS
UNDERCOOLED)
Accordingly, how can we satisfy the ASHRAE requirement for the maximum
unmet load hours of 300hrs?
* Shall I add the hours underheated and hours undercooled of the
SS-F report, or
* shall I add the "HOURS ANY ZONE ABOVE COOLING THROTTLING RANGE"
and "HOURS ANY ZONE BELOW HEATING THROTTLING RANGE " hours of the BEPS
report, or
* Shall I multiply the "% of hours any system zone outside of
throttling range" of the BEPS report by the "hours fans on" of the SS-E
report?
All the three above seem to give me different answers! Which one is the
most accurate?
Many thanks!
