Dear All,
I am getting the opposite sign for the longitude and time zone in eQuest,
and I will be grateful if anybody can advise me on this matter.
I am using a user-defined weather file in eQuest and I've used the Climate
Consultant software to verify what value was stored in the weather file
(generated by Meteonorm) and it is 20.3 S and 57.5 E with a time zone of 4,
which translates to -20.3 lat and +57.5 long and +4 for the time zone.
Please see attached file for a screenshot of Climate Consultant.
When eQuest is reading the same weather file, it is reporting an
incompatibility between the values I have provided (-20.3, +57.5 and +4) and
the one eQuest is reading from the weather file (-20.3, -57.5 and -4). The
climate consultant software is giving the correct values. Am I getting the
sign convention wrong or eQuest uses a different sign convention?
Regards,
Kishan
