ASHRAE 90.1: Hot water and chilled water pumps

1 post / 0 new

I am having an issue with modeling the required pump efficiencies per
ASHRAE 90.1.

For Chilled Water Pumps, ASHRAE 90.1 states "The baseline building
design pump power shall be 22 w/gpm." eQUEST asks for motor efficiency
and mech efficiency (mechanical efficiency of the pump impeller). The
heating water pumps require 19 w/gpm. The following is a screen shot of
eQUEST's pump properties:

ASHRAE 90.1 only gives the watts per gpm, do I run the simulation and
calculate the "pump power" (kW) by multiplying the given watts/gpm by
the modeled gpm and put the mechanical and motor efficiency to 1.0?

Thanks for any help and ideas,
