Hi All:
I'm modeling a plant that is manually changed over from heating to
cooling, and I'm wondering the best way to model this. Is this done in
the systems annual heat and cool schedules, or can this be done with
annual schedules for the Water-Side equipment? Do I need to create a
new ON/OFF schedule, and if so how do I link it to the boilers and
chillers?
I'm in detailed edit mode, and have a feeling this is a simple task, but
just can't figure out how.

Hi Nick,
I don't have time to really delve into this but I think you should look in
the Volume 3: DOE-2.2 Topics Manual on the DOE2 web site. There is a
discussion in there about circulation loops and the scheduling of them. Also
I would look at using the availability schedules on the Air Side Systems
heating and cooling screens. One or both of these should get you where you
need to be.
