drawing and unusual roof

I am trying to model a one story building that has a slanted roof. How do I
make a slanted roof in eQuest? Part of the roof is not slanted. This part
is one-story higher than the slanted roof. How do I draw a roof at two
different heights in eQuest?

Thank you.

Yehuda:

Make the walls the same height for the initial roof (lower), then add an additional shell for the two story section (in the Wizard)

Then go to the Detailed Edist mode and make the section with the slant roof have the wall of the higher roof part a higher wall.

This should work.

I have two separate models, one without internal loads to a building section, one adding load (including DHW) to the previously unconditioned building section. I attached the .PD2 and .INP files for the "larger load" model.

The added heating, cooling, lighting, and equip loads show up, but the DHW load remains the same.

In this "larger model", I made a second DHW circulation loop, fired by a 2separate DHW heater. I even change the dirver for the heater location.

No change.

What, o eQuest word, am I missing ?

My humble thanks
