The sim report name includes the file name but has "-Basleine Design" tagged on at the end, even though this is a design case model. How can I revise the report name?
Yes, but don't get confused with baseline "info" in your eQuest file and
"BASELINE MODEL" as per ASHRAE's classificaiton.
Don't give eQuest that much credit for it's intelligence--it doesn't know
(or care) if you are building the design case or basline 90.1 model.
The "-baseline" name reference that you are referring too is used by eQuest
for the sake of parametric runs (ECM analysis.) If you had parametric sim
files you would see "project name- 1" for run 1 over the basline file, and
so forth...
Right--I understand, but I want you to understand that the "baseline
reference" that you are seeing from eQuest has nothing to do with your
baseline or design case models...it is used in eQuest as an entirely
different context.---Really eQuest is not smart at all...
Mark,
There is a way to edit it without opening the *.inp file, but you will
have to go back to the Wizard where you originally specified the project
name to begin with,
and doing this you risk losing any changes you might have made in the
GUI.
Mark:
You can edit the report name at the beginning of the .inp file.

Thanks, Paul! You?d think there?d be a way to edit that in the GUI?

Thanks, Pasha. I'm keeping it pretty simple. No parametric runs, just two separate files - one baseline, one design case.
