I'm new to eQuest and I'm having trouble understanding the hierarchy in the model. I have a question about VAV boxes. I have 60 ton unit that supplies the core of the building with air. This unit feeds into 20 VAV boxes with 20 thermostats. Do I need to have 20 core zones or can I have one core zone and dictate that there are 20 VAV boxes and the model will know how to calculate this out?

I have the same question but have 3 RTUs with DX cooling and gas fired furnaces and 90 VAVs utilizing electric reheat.
