Workflow question - What is the best way to model the baseline case and then design case? LEED

I am modeling a building that has a Packaged VAV system as the base case and
a standard VAV system as the design case. Is there any easy way to set up a
second mechanical system and then reassign the zones to it as a parametric
run? I'm trying to avoid creating a second model so that I can keep any
adjustments to the schedule, loads or envelope identical. I have
investigated setting up dummy zones to assign the VAV mechanical system to,
but I can't figure out how to reassign the zones as a parametric run. Thank
you.

The way I have done it before is change the HVAC system and its
corresponding parameters in the parametric window. The zoning and the
number of systems remains the same.

I am trying the method of switching mechanical systems a parametric run, but
I still had to set up a dummy zone in order to create a chilled water loop.
I also have a hard time making sure I manually specify everyone of the
parameters I need without having the dialogue windows to fill in on the main
screen. As an example, my VAV system is showing up as less efficient system
than the Packaged VAV because my pump and fan energies are much higher. I
fear I have missed the appropriate input because I assume my VAV would be
more efficient.

If there were a way to reassign the zones it would be ideal, other wise I
will have to modify the system.
