?Hello!

I'm working on a simulation with TRNSYS and i have two problems :

The first is that when i run a simulation i have no sensible heat?, it's
always equal to zero.

?The second is that i need to make shading scenarios and i don't know how
to (i've been told i could use type 34 but it is still no clear to me)

Does anyone have an idea what i could do please?
?

Badreddine,

Regarding your first problem, have you correctly define a heater (in
heating type manager) in trnbuild?

For dealing with mask, you can have a look to that tutorial :
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/downloads/tutorials_and_examples/connecting34_67.pdf
To define your shading scenarios, you can use schedules directly in
trnbuild. If you want to define more complex scenarios, you will have to
use an input in trnbuild and define scenario with an equation tool in
studio, and connect it to type56.

Best regards

Thank you very much for your answer, for the sensible heat indeed I've
defined a heating but forgot to turn it on in each zone.
As for the shading i thought of using schedules in trnbuild only those
scedhules are only weekly, and i have a scenario that changes from a season
to another.
Thanks again.

Hello,

I'm working on a multizone building simulation, and i need to define an
annual scenario for the shading. All i can find is a weekly or a daily one.

Does anyone know how i can do an annual scenario?

Thank you!

The schedules that are built in to TRNBuild are either daily or weekly
(and repeat automatically). If you want longer schedules you will need
to specify an INPUT instead of a SCHEDULE in TRNBuild. You can then use
a standard TRNSYS Type (such as Type14 or some of the schedule types in
the TESS Applications Library) to define appropriate schedules.
kind regards,
David
