I am wondering how I can get the illuminance (lux) of a zone as an
output of a building (type56)?
Is that possible without calling an external program like Radiance?

As far as I know, this is not possible to get this information in
current type56 version, which only deals with energy and thermal behaviours.
You have to use other tools to evaluate that. You can do it for
different external conditions and use an equation in Trnsys to use your
results.
