Shutting off DX cooling in winter

I know i asked this question before, but I have misplaced the answer. And i do not believe it was a thermostat control.
If i want to keep the heating going in a DX VAV system in the winter and shut down cooling, how would this be done?
The fan must keep going but the DX compressor must stop.
In a chilled water system, you can shut off the pump. But no pump exists in a DX system.
Thanks in advance.

Hey John!

One way to skin the cat: Under the Airside Systems tab (SYSTEM inputs), you can assign an optional cooling availability and/or heating availability schedule to limit/control the availability of either heating or cooling, independent of the fan schedule.

I don?t think this is generally limited to DX/heatpump systems - you can use the same inputs to control heating/cooling coil availability in a hydronic system as well (which would allow for something like a hydronic loop to keep circulating but have specific systems stop drawing on the associated loop).

Hope that?s helpful!
