Please Help, Very URGENT- Hours unmet: 61.3%

Dear all,

I would appreciate it if someone helps me. I keep on postponing the deadline of my equest project! Here's the final problem.

My project is a school in Beirut, Lebanon. I did the baseline and the proposed cases. All results made sense except for the unmet hours of the baseline (61.3%) and Ventilation consumption that is 6 times more than the proposed. The proposed case unmet loads are (3.5%) which is very good.

Is there a chance that the high unmet hours of the baseline are causing the ventilation fans to be that high (The HVAC is running for a greater period of time in order to fulfill that load but can not meet it 61.3% of the times) ?

I have checked the fan schedules for both the baseline and the proposed scenarios, the design set points, the supply flow rates, and every input I suspect to cause this difference. Note that both scenarios operate a VAV w/ reheat system.

I am hereby attaching both scenarios along with the weather file. Please ignore the 200 warnings or so, I have no time to fix them!

If any person can figure out what's wrong, I'll be grateful for the rest of my life and thank this person who made my first project at my new job a successful one :)! I'd appreciate it if someone takes a look at the files today if possible.

Best regards and Many Thanks,

Omar Katanani

Omar,
Your parking zone is served by heating only zone, but you still have cooling schedule. Your cooling schedule shows 99 degrees, but I can see that Beirut, Lebanon will be hotter than 99 degree. You need to take cooling schedule from all of parking zoning.
