Layer Construction Error: No heat capacity

I'm trying to define a ceiling layer as be "resistance only." However, when
I generate the .BDL, I get an error that says "WALL has no heat capacity.
U-VALUE used." I don't want to add capacity to this layer. Is there any
way around this? Thanks

Is it an error or a warning? If it's just a warning then you are okay
because you have what you want.

It was an error. I read into it a little more and eQUEST says you can't
have all resistance layers only. One of them has to be selected from the
Library of components.

With that information I know what your problem is. Don't use layers, just go
right to the construction specification and you will see an option to use
the u-value.
