PART 1
HONEYBEE GENERATION: Modeling EnergyPlus Renewable Energy Systems in Grasshopper
You will learn to streamline the design, financial analysis and optimization of renewable energy systems in your Honeybee/Energy Plus models with the beta release of Honeybee Generation.
PART 2
LADYBUG PHOTOVOLTAICS
You will learn to calculate the amount of electric power generated by Rhino/Grasshopper surface, when populated with Photovoltaics (PV) modules and to define losses affecting the PV system including shading losses. Learn to find optimal tilt and orientation and to analyze overall performance, energy value, consumption and emissions of Rhino/Grasshopper PV surfaces.
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Anton Szilasi is an engineer by training and has worked in the field of renewable energy and building sustainability in Australia, Thailand, China and Switzerland. He develops open source tools combined with optimization algorithms to help designers find optimal design solutions. Djordje Spasic is a Serbian Architect by day and software developer by night. In-between he mostly sleeps or tries to learn new things about Grasshopper and Rhino, sometimes even releasing a new component for Ladybug!
