POSITION: Research Associate
COMPANY:T.C. Chan Center for Building Simulation and Energy Studies is a
non-profit Center engaged in the creation (research), application
(consulting) and dissemination (communication) of knowledge. The mission of
the Center is to develop new knowledge, tools, processes, techniques and
continuing education for professionals involved in building energy and
technology. The goal is to create healthier, productive, energy efficient
strategies that will lead to high performance buildings and sustainable
environments.
DESCRIPTION: The T.C. Chan Center for Building Simulation and Energy Studies
is seeking a full-time research associate with a background in green
building practices to participate in the development of sustainable building
rating systems. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing existing
rating systems/standards and determining new methods of measuring the
sustainable potential of various components and functions of a building
design. Potential applicants must be organized and detail-oriented and have
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The compensation will be based on level of experience and skills.
