Project Manager - Sustainability (IRC7129)
Mortenson Construction's Center for Sustainable Energy is seeking an
individual with strong sustainable/renewable energy experience and
credentials to provide technical assistance in support of the Center's
mission. This individual will support our effort to reduce our customers'
building energy costs through more efficient design, technology and
operational practices. He/she will be an expert in all matters related to
building efficiency and the substantial reduction, or elimination, of
energy use through 'net-zero energy' and other strategies. An in-depth
knowledge of, and experience with, energy modeling, life cycle cost
analysis and other quantitative methods in a commercial and industrial
construction application is required. The focus of the position is to
provide technical assistance to all of our operating groups through
training, advocacy, outreach and project assistance to achieve net-zero
energy and other highly efficient building. This position is based in
Minneapolis, but will work with in collaboration with all Mortenson
operating groups and company-wide services to deliver the most efficient
solutions possible. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10
years of design/analysis experience, expertise with energy modeling tools,
strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team
environment.

Energy Modeler / Energy Systems Analyst (IRC6834)
Mortenson Construction?s Center for Sustainable Energy is seeking an
individual to provide sustainable energy solutions and support for our
customers and their projects. This individual will have a strong
interest, passion, and ethic for a sustainable approach to the design and
construction of commercial buildings. He/she will be a partner in a highly
motivated, synergistic team focused exclusively on this effort. There will
be significant opportunities and requirements for technical research,
creative thinking and the application of problem solving skills. This
person will work with many individuals and teams within the Mortenson
organization, as well as interface with outside consultants,
architects/engineers, manufacturers, subcontractors and customers. This
position is based in Minneapolis, but will work with in collaboration with
all Mortenson operating groups and company-wide services to deliver the
most efficient solutions possible. Qualified candidates should have a
minimum of 2 years of relevant design/analysis experience, experience with
energy modeling tools, ability to communicate technical information and be
able to manage multiple priorities.
