I need to see what difference will fly-ash bricks make in my building.
Since fly ash bricks are not present in the eQuest materials library, I
need to create a new material in detailed data edit mode & for that I need
to specify *C**onductivity & Specific Heat for fly ash bricks. The
distributors list only the dimensions & density. *
Can anyone guide me as to where I can find these values for fly ash bricks?
I tried to google it but only U Values are given. *I can't use the 'Specify
material by resistance' option because it can only be used for materials
which are either too thin or lightweight. *

Thermal Conductivity of Fly Ash Bricks and Normal Clay Bricks:
1. Thermal conductivity of Fly Ash Bricks is 0.90-1.05 W/m2 ºC
2. Thermal conductivity of Normal Clay Bricks is 1.25 – 1.35 W/m2 ºC
From the above comparison, it’s clearly evident that Fly ash bricks conduct less heat than normal clay bricks. So, the final truth is ‘Fly ash Bricks is more reliable in quality compared to normal clay bricks, so don’t hesitate to use fly ash bricks to build your dream house.

The U value of fly ash bricks depends on the quantity of fly ash content. Is there any data available to give U value for different quantities of flyash like 15%-20% fly ash bricks?
