Dear Ramesh,

There is nothing in PD and INP files and seems impossible to extract your
model.

Thanks!

Hopefully you were using detailed edit mode.

Look in the folder and you should see a file titled "SIDCO - Baseline Design.inp". This should have your pre-run input data. Delete the blank "SIDCO.inp " file and then copy, rename "SIDCO - Baseline Design.inp" to SIDCO.inp. As for the bdl file see if you can start up an new project use the correct weather data file and title it the same as before "SIDCO". Don't worry about any other inputs other than the title and weather data. All other input just ignore. Copy the new bdl file over to the project directory and open.

Also in the future do not save your file after and invalid argument error, this is what is creating this issue. When the error occurs, exit the program without saving.

Tim.

Also set up the compatibility mode to XP for the version of eQuest you are
using - this will get rid of the invalid argument error.

Hello Ramesh,

That is a bummer for sure. I have had eQUEST do the same to me a couple
of times, hopefully you have saved often and in multiple versions. Look
in the folder where you have saved the eQUEST project file and find the
associated .pdl file. Look at the file size and ensure it is above 0
kB, normally they are around 400-500 kB. If it is not grab a file from
previous saves, copy and rename. Then try running eQUEST again. If it
opens correctly and locks up again repeat the .pdl steps and save the
file into clean folder before running it again.

I hope this helps,
