*Commissioning Engineer ? Mechanical*
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
This position is available in our South Florida location. The successful
candidate will be pursuing or possess a Bachelor?s degree from an
accredited engineering program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
5 years professional experience in the design and construction industry,
with knowledge of the commissioning process. The candidate should have
knowledge of HVAC systems? design through construction drawings,
installation and testing. LEED accreditation is a plus, with the ideal
candidate being environmentally-minded and thoroughly understanding of
energy and climate change issues.
*EXPERIENCE*
Experience with commissioning and energy optimization requirements under
the LEED program is desirable. Experience with Building Simulation/Energy
Modeling is a plus, using Trane Trace software. The candidate will have a
portfolio of project work that demonstrates a thorough understanding of
HVAC systems in a variety of facility types. The candidate will possess
strong communication, project management and client relation skills,
ideally having solid references, reputation and relationships in the A/E
industry.

*JOB DUTIES*
The successful candidate will report to a Senior Mechanical Engineer, and
be expected to perform the following tasks:
1. Visit project sites, observe building construction and
installation of MEP systems.
2. Write field reports.
3. Represent SEQUIL at project meetings.
4. Write and complete functional performance tests.
5. Assist with energy modeling inputs by interpreting architectural
drawings.
