I have followed the OpenStudio tutorial where a heat pump is compared to a VAV.  I conducted this on my model which is more simple geometry than that used in the tutorial.  

For some reason the heat pump fan power has 10 times the VAV fan power.  I cannot understand why.  The flow rates of the ventilation seem to be the same.  The VAV fan is slightly less efficient so you would expect more power in the VAV not less.  Can somebody explain why the heat pump might use so much more fan power.
