[HEADLINE] A duel to the death! Pistols at high-noon (~9:45AM CST)!

Bystanders were stunned this morning when out of the blue, an up and comer auto-reply setting from France challenged the reigning mailing lists at onebuilding.org to a duel to the grisly end!

One witness to the event is quoted as saying "Is it just me who is getting these emails???????????????????????" Another helpfully volunteered "What's going on?"

Fortunately the incident occurred at an hour where our hero Mr. Jason Glazer was at the helm, likely trying to enjoy his morning latte and solving other pressing real-world problems. Thanks to his swift actions, the deluge of auto-reply crossfire ceased before graver consequences ensued.

Motives behind the violence remain uncertain. It has been speculated this might be a big misunderstanding as to what the up-and-coming lowdown showdown at the 2017 ASHRAE building performance and analysis conference will entail, but lead organizer Annie Marston could not be reached for comment - mostly because I'm just joking and wanted to insert a plug on behalf of the event. More likely, this reporter expects this is real-world parable: with the moral of the story being to pay mind to intelligent set your auto-reply settings.
