Hi,

Can we keep both proposed and basecase supply cfm came? or we should model
basecase fan cfm as per ASHRAE 90.1-2007 Appendix G. When I model as per
APPENDIX G, basecase consumption is coming too low when
compared with proposed.

Kindly suggest.

Leave the supply cfm default in base case, keep supply cfm as per design in proposed , OA & occupancy should be same.

I saw this recently and thought I would add that if you are preparing a LEED submission for LEED NC 2009 certification, ASHRAE 90.1 (2007) states in section "G3.1.2.5 Ventilation":

Minimum outdoor air ventilation rates shall be the same for proposed and baseline building designs...

Exception: when modeling demand-control ventilation in the proposed design when its use is not required by section 6.4.3.8.

But for Supply Air baseline you want it defaulted like Soham sais.

Whether or not you model minimum Outside air in baseline depends on whether or not you meet the criteria of the exception I mentioned from Appendix G.
