IBPSA-USA’s SimBuild 2012 Conference The Future of Simulation for Buildings August 1-3, 2012 The Madison Concourse Hotel Madison, Wisconsin Conference Chair: Timothy McDowell, Thermal Energy System Specialists, LLC Scientific Chair: D. Michael Utzinger, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee The fifth biennial conference to improve the design and operation of buildings through advances in the modeling and simulation of building performance Technical refereed paper presentations – double-blind reviewed papers on all topics in the area of building performance simulation (abstracts will be due late Fall 2011)Invited speaker seminars – sessions with invited speakers on topics such as:The future of BEM softwareModeling controls in BEM softwareUse of simulation in real-time to support building operationDealing with uncertainty in building performance simula
