Our firm has been told by a client that DOE-2 (and thus eQuest) can be used to optimize the size of a combined heat-power (co-gen) plant within the program (not by running several iterations and analyzing the results to pick the optimal size). Is this correct?
We have already run iterations on the cogen plant size using two other programs and completed manual analysis of the results to pick the plant size, but would like to be able to answer our client's request.
