[TRNSYS-users] Type 107 external data file

Hi! I'm doing a master thesis in solar cooling and I have problem with the type 107 external data file. I want to use other temperature spans then the ones in the example data file. I can't figure out how to calculate the and , which changes depending on the different temps. of the fluid flows (inlet hot water temp, chilled water setpoint and cooling water temp). I have looked carefully in the mathematical description pdf but can figure it out. Does anyone know how to calculate this?
Kind regards,Anton ?hlund

Anton,
In order to create a new data file you'll need to have manufacturer's
data for the machine that you want to model. Manufacturer's data usually
includes some information that shows how the machine's cooling capacity
changes as a function of the inlet conditions. Often they give values of
full-load capacity for a number of inlet water temperatures in a table.
The fraction of rated capacity is obtained by dividing the capacity at a
given set of inlet conditions by the capacity at the machine's rated
inlet conditions. The same principal is true for the design energy
input. In the case of Type107 the design energy input is the amount of
energy that is extracted from the hot water stream at the machine's
rated condition.
kind regards,
David
