We currently have three openings in the Institute of Construction at the
University of Technology Graz, in Austria (research/unit: Building Physics).
I would be most grateful if you could promote these opportunities to your
staff and students.

Two positions as a University Assistant (PhD student) for five years

* Fulltime contract (over 5 years), commencing 1st October 2020
(candidates are expected to contribute to teaching and admin).

* Application requirements:

Very good English (written and verbal) and computer skills. Good degree in
civil engineering, architecture or mechanical engineering - specialisation
in building physics and/or environmental design. Further expertise in the
fields of building simulation, numerical modelling and data analytics
desirable.

One tenure track professorship position in Building Physics

* The successful candidate is expected to start on January, 1st, 2020.
The position is initially restricted to six years as a university assistant
with doctorate, 40h per week. Following a qualification agreement, the
candidate will be appointed as an Assistant Professor. Once the
qualification agreement has been fulfilled, the position will be converted
into a tenured position as Associate Professor.

* Language requirements: Basic spoken German, proficiency in English
(spoken and written).
