"Thermostat Schedules" versus "Indoor Design Temperature"

Dear all,

I have two zones to be cooled: one is to be maintained at 75F and the
other at 72F.

Shall I create 2 different thermostat schedules (for example:
99,99,99,99,99,99,99,75,75,75,75,75,75,75,75,99,99,99)?

If this is the case, then why is there an input box called "Indoor
Design Temperature"? How does this input box affect the cooling
schedule?

Thanks a lot!

Design temp is for sizing the system. The schedule is for how the system
operates hourly.

Many thanks!

So if I received information from the design engineers requiring that
Zone X needs to be maintained at 75F, I shall put 75F for the thermostat
schedule and for the "indoor design temperature"?

Should the indoor design temperature also be 75, or slightly different?

Best,

Omar
