Can anyone suggest standalone tools to perform calculations for specific HVAC measures-- where, for example, you can simply plug in an estimated overall heating/cooling load, and schedule and estimate the energy consumption difference between two types of measure.

Any advice about existing tools (available free or for sale) to accomplish the following types of analysis would be greatly appreciated:

* Demand control ventilation

* Economizer

* Heat/Energy recovery ventilation

* Chiller performance

* Circulator pump efficiency

* Variable refrigerant flow systems

I'll follow up to the list-serve with a summary of advice I receive from the group.
