? ***** GENERAL REMINDER FOR EQUEST-USERS ***** <--
It is often helpful to share your model files when posting to equest-users. Attach your .pd2 and .inp files, and your weather file if it is not one that is automatically downloaded from the DOE2 website.
If there is more than one .inp file in your model folder, attach the one that is the largest. Be sure to mention if you are using an eQUEST version other than the most recent.
Sharing your model files is particularly helpful if you have a question/problem that is specific to your model - not general in nature.
This tends to be a win-win situation for the list. You receive faster, more accurate advice/comments. Customer service providers (professionals volunteering their valuable time) get to do their good deed for the day, and may be reminded that, hey, they really have learned quite a bit about this modeling stuff, or, at a minimum, they are not the only one struggling with a particular issue.
Try not to get all discouraged or mopey if you do not receive an immediate reply. If you do receive helpful advice, pay it forward by responding to others' requests for assistance.
Now go ye forth, and simulate.
