Dear All,

I am modelleing a multi zone shell and would like to compare the energy
performance between package Vs a screw chiller (with VAV air handling) with
sutable accessories.

In the auto sizing mode, the results show a relaively higher cooling
capacity and a supply fan flow rate for almost all zones for the chiller
option compared to the Package option but with an overall energy consumption
around 10% less in the chiller option. I expected this % to be more than
that but get feeling that it is discounted because of higher fan flow rates.

I have a difficulty in figuring out as to why this is so inspite of using
VAV ar supply system.

Can some one thow some light on this please
