Night Cycle Control

1 post / 0 new

I have a quick question regarding night cycle control. When a unit is on night cycle control and it is specified as cycle on first, does the unit have the ability to use the economizer if the outdoor air is under the specified temperature? Is there any way to specify this is or does e-Quest assume that if an economizer is available during normal operation up to a certain temperature, then it will also be available during night cycle control? I have a building in a hot and humid climate that relies on the night cycle control and the chillers are running for numerous hours from the 0-10% range. I feel as though an economizer function should be sufficient to cool at night, which leads me to believe it is not allowing the economizer open for night cycle control. Any comments are appreciated.
