Dear All,
I am trying to incorporate into my model louvres with fixed slates that
can be manually moved in front of a window or away from it on external
rails.
They are of coursed moved by occupants when there is glare through the
window.
I looked at the Dictionary Manual and there it says that window coverings
can be modelled with the SHADING-SCHEDULE keyword, which takes into
account the amount of solar radiation and even the probability that the
occupant might move the louvre in front of the window. This seems very
suitable for modelling.
However, the same topic says that slate type blinds should only be
modelled as an additional layer on the WINDOW object. This obviously would
not take into account the movable nature of these blinds.
Why would DOE2 say something like this? What would you recommend I do?
