I am attempting to reconcile a cooling energy disecrepency between a
LEED Proposed model and its Baseline. The Proposed is using a GSHP with
ERV OA, while the Baseline uses PSZ-HP.
Quickly:
Baseline Model Peak Load is Larger
Baseline BLDG Monthly Load is Larger
Baseline HVAC Load is Larger
Proposed Cooling Demand and Consumption is greater
Proposed Solar Radiation BTUH is Larger
The only real discrepancy that I'm finding is in the SS-D, where the
following is 0.00 for the Baseline and 3829.446 (KBTU) for the Proposed.
"MAXIMUM DAILY INTEGRATED COOLING LOAD (WTH FILE)"
What impact does this have?
Design temperatures, schedules, control, etc. are all consistant.
