1 post / 0 new

Lawrence Berkeley National Lab?s (LBNL) Building Technology Urban Systems
(BTUS) Division has an opening for a Computational Research Scientist to
join the team.

In this exciting role, the scientist will conduct research, develop
methods, models and use a suite of energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus,
OpenStudio, CBES, CityBES) to simulate performance of HVAC systems and
buildings to support design, operation, and retrofit of buildings for
decarbonization and climate resilience.

Current research in LBNL?s BTUS Division includes the development and
application of building energy simulation, research on building controls,
performance monitoring, glazings, window systems, high performance facades,
management of peak electricity demand and benchmarking of building energy
performance. The incumbent will focus on research and application of
building energy modeling methods and tools to simulate performance of
building technologies for new and existing buildings and communities, and
will collaborate with BTUS staff on related projects. The incumbent will
serve as technical lead for projects focusing on building performance
simulation.

Details and how to apply by December 31: http://m.rfer.us/LBL0-M5eJ
