We are pleased to announce that our VE experts will be hosting a 2-Day VE training course in Las Vegas, NV on February 1st & 2nd, 2017.
We will teach you simulation techniques and methods to enable more sustainable design practices using the enhanced features of our latest release, VE 2016. IES is a registered GBCI Education Provider.

What will the course cover?
Day 1: HVAC LOADS SIZING
This workshop will walk through the steps required to calculate building & system loads. Workshop highlights will include:
* Defining design day weather, climate, envelope, internal gains & schedules
* Detailed ASHRAE Heat Balance Method room load calculations
* Introduction to ApacheHVAC
* Minimum ventilation requirements (62.1 & 170)
* HVAC System load sizing, analysis & reports (includes airside and waterside)

Day 2: ENERGY MODELING
This workshop will focus on integrating HVAC system options, using loads as part of a sub-hourly energy analysis. Highlights will include:
* Building and HVAC System options
* Energy simulation & results
* Advanced VAV systems with min OA reset and/or zone-CO2-based DCV
* Low energy systems: Evaporative cooling, radiant cooling, chilled beams, displacement ventilation
* Waterside HVAC, including integrated WSE
* Whole building energy analysis with integrated advanced HVAC systems

Note: Trainees are required to bring a laptop to our session with the VE installed beforehand. We will provide your complimentary training license upon registration. Please read and accept the IES Training T&Cs
