Hi,
Thanks for the advice I've received on how to add makeup air. Since eQuest only allows one system per zone, I basically added the MUA unit's airflow to the zone by including it in OUTSIDE-AIR-FLOW. I included the kitchen hood air in EXHAUST-FLOW. Everything else is autosized.
The simulation runs with no errors but returns a HUGE heating energy use - it's using gas in June, July and August, which is unheard of in Indiana. So I can tell this is an unrealistic condition.
But I can't leave it out, can I? The MUA unit is a real user - it's the largest single piece of equipment, both in electrical and gas, in the project. The only place in Appendix G where hoods are mentioned are in G3.1.2.10 exceptions.
All help is appreciated!
