Pardon any double postings. Other enquires similar to Mark's have been
posted to the bldg-sim and equest-users lists, so I'm providing the
following information to both.
Applications for the IRS tax deduction qualified software (based on ASHRAE
standard 140-2007) were submitted to the USDOE for eQUEST v3.63b (submitted
early Sep09) and DOE-2.2 v47d, the simulation engine used in eQUEST v3.63b
(submitted late Sep09). We assume the review process will take a few weeks.
The full application materials, including all ASHRAE standard 140-2007 runs
and results, are available at:
http://doe2.com/download/IRScode179D_eQUEST-DOE22
The USDOE's list of Qualified Software for Calculating Commercial Building
Tax Deductions is found at:
http://www1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/qualified_software.html
As soon as these appear on the USDOE's list of IRS qualified software, we'll
post an announcement to the equest-users list.
