Based on a quick review of the following simulation software packages web sites, none of their current versions are on The List
- Carrier HAP
- DOE-2.2
- EnergyGauge Summit
- EnergyPlus
- eQUEST
- Green Building Studio
- Trane Trace 700
Granted there has been a recent batch of releases, but this was just so fascinating that I had to share.
e+ at least I'll give some slack for releasing this month. I would be willing to use the current package expecting it the software to be approved as soon as the documentation can be submitted.
For the others you are right, it would be nice to get an update of intentions if anyone on the list is out there developing these tools.

I work on the EnergyGauge Summit development team. We are currently
making some changes to our code compliance engine that develops the
ASHRAE reference building automatically.
When this is implemented and the new version is released in January
2009, we will send in the documentation to DOE to get that latest
version certified.
