Hi There- It may interest you to consider that Demand in TRACE is determined by the COOLING DESIGN day schedule. Often, this is set to Midnight-Midnight at 100%, a more proper schedule The reason for using the cooling design schedule is because TRACE works in 1 hour intervals, while Demand charges are based off of 15 or 20 minute intervals (which will be slightly higher than the peak average for 1 hour in most cases). So, Scott's explanation is the right way to proceed, but in this case, the cooling design day schedule is what influences demand.
