Hello everyone,
I am not using eQuest that much nowadays, but I have to compare energyPlus
VRF modeling capabilities with eQuest's for one of my research work. Just
wondering if someone has an experience modeling VRF in eQuest, and have
some feedback for me to start with? I am more concern about providing
inputs on multiple VRF curves in eQuest.
Thank you,

Harshul,
The latest version of eQUEST has the new VRF capabilities. You?ll need to download v3.65 Build 7175 and run it in DOE-2.3 mode. The new features are described in the DOE-2 help file, Volume 6. Doug Maddox did (most of? all of?) the work implementing it. He posted a webinar and a one-hour video at his website: http://www.maddoxenergy.com/Webinars.htm
?Methodology is consistent with latest EnergyPlus ?physics-based? model.? I hope you will share your research findings and/or any additional VRF curves you create with Equest-users when you?re finished.
Regards,
~Bill

Thank you for sharing the information. Looks promising. Yes, I will share
my findings with you once I am done. Thank you

Design Builder created a set of Excel files for generating the VRF performance curves from manufacturer data, scroll down to the bottom of this url:
