Of course, you can take the long way around but you are limited to the command line version of DOE2.2:
##IF #[ BLR-EFF[] gt 0.89 ]
"Boiler-Offices" = BOILER
TYPE = HW-CONDENSING
HEAT-INPUT-RATIO = {1 / #PA("HTG-EFF-BLR")}
HIR-FPLR = "CondBlr-HIR-fPLR&HWR"
HW-LOOP = "Baseboard-Loop"
HW-PUMP = "DEFAULT-HW-PUMP"
HW-HEAD = 0.01
HW-STATIC-HEAD = 0
..
##ELSE
"Boiler-Offices" = BOILER
TYPE = HW-BOILER
HEAT-INPUT-RATIO = {1 / #PA("HTG-EFF-BLR")}
HIR-FPLR = "Atmospheric-Blr-HIR-fPLR"
HW-LOOP = "Baseboard-Loop"
HW-PUMP = "DEFAULT-HW-PUMP"
HW-HEAD = 0.01
HW-STATIC-HEAD = 0
..
##ENDIF
You have to define a macro variable:
##SET1 BLR-EFF 0.90 ..
Above somewhere.
You can do this in eQuest ? by editing the .inp file then opening the eQuest project but eQuest immediately expands all macro expressions and strips them out of the .inp file.
