Enthalpy wheel with evaporative cooling on the exhaust air stream

I have a project that has no direct cooling but has an enthalpy wheel and evaporative cooling on the exhaust air stream before the heat wheel. Has anyone come across this arrangement and has anyone figured out a work around for equest?

Chris, There is an evaporative cooling system in eQ. Couldn't you connect this system to a system with the enthalpy wheel using the "Outside air from" option?

Hi Chris!

So? fancy swamp cooler eh? (j/k)

A system of this description came up once on the lists (see attached
initial post with INP and following discussions), though I don?t see any
explicit answers provided on a cursory search.

I?d also be inclined to first explore the limitations of the existing
evaporative cooler system type to see if you might be able to end up with a
fair approximation? looks like an economizer is an option for standalone or
add-on units (suggest checking out the DOE2 entry for EVAP-CL-AIR and
EVAP-CL+REC-RA ? cited figures are copied below), but no configuration
places the cooler directly ahead of the wheel, rather parallel or
downstream? would this be a pretty bad stretch? Consider you can
optionally specify the return air stream as the secondary airstream for an
indirect cooler (not as pictured below with outside air for the secondary).
