Hi all, I need to know if you can model on eQuest with two different rates? If it's possible please explain how to do it thanks.

I'm assuming that you're asking if it's possible to use multiple utility rates for the same fuel type within a model. If so, the answer is yes.

In order to do so you'll have to follow a few steps. For all of these steps I'm going to assume that you're creating a separate electric meter although the steps would be the same for any other fuel meter.

1. Create a second electric meter (Utility & Economics > Electric Meters > Create Electric Meter...).

2. Assign the meter to the appropriate end-uses in all zones which will be using the secondary utility rate (Air-Side HVAC > Thermal Zone > Meters).

3. Create two utility rates (Utility & Economics > Utility Rates > Create Utility Rate...) and assign the each meter to the appropriate utility rate.
