Qualifications: The successful candidate will optimize energy and environmental performance of our client's projects through energy simulation/modeling, design reviews, consulting, financial analysis and green building rating system documentation.

This demanding position requires the following experience and skill sets:

* Extensive energy modeling experience with DOE-2 compliant software: EnergyPlus, eQUEST, etc.

* Energy-focused engineering consulting services to internal and external customers, including the electronics, solar, nanotech, science & research and life sciences industries.

* Working with engineering disciplines to identify opportunities to improve the energy performance of our client's facilities.

* Perform energy modeling and facility system ROI calculations to support engineering design decisions.

* Facility energy audits

* Design review reports

* Detailed financial valuation analysis including IRR, ROI and LCA

* Providing review and critique of renewable / sustainable energy generation projects including photovoltaic, solar thermal, cogeneration, tri-generation, bio-mass waste-to-energy, etc.

* Demonstrated experience modeling process-intensive facilities to comply with ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED criteria.

* Licensed / degreed mechanical engineer preferred

* LEED documentation experience is required.

* LEED Accredited Professional strongly preferred.

Successful candidate could work from Phoenix, AZ, Albany, NY, Chicago, IL or Alameda, CA offices.
