Berkeley National Laboratory will present new results of research at LBNL's
FlexLab facility, in which simulation results are being compared to a
highly-monitored reality. This work is part of a larger project on
simulation validation and uncertainty with participants from LBNL, ORNL,
NREL and Argonne National Laboratory. Phil will also explain the important
difference between uncertainty and variability, as a lead-in to an open
discussion of causes of differences between simulation predictions and
measured performance.
