IBPSA-NYC Presents: Passive House Webinar Series - Part 1 of 3

Title: An Intro to the PHIUS+ 2015 Passive Building Standard and WUFI Passive
Description:
This is the first of a 3-part series about passive house standards. We will start by exploring the development of the climate-specific PHIUS+ 2015 standard developed by the Passive House Institute US (PHIUS). This webinar will generally review how to achieve certification for new and existing buildings. Additionally, this will include an overview and demo of the WUFI(r) Passive energy modeling software, which is used for project design and optimization, as well as for demonstrating compliance with the PHIUS+ 2015 standard. WUFI Passive is a powerful user-friendly passive building energy modeling software tool developed by Fraunhofer IBP that is uniquely suited to the North American market.
Part 1 of the series qualifies for 1 PHIUS CPHC CEU, which must be self-reported with a code that will be provided at the end of the webinar.
