Hi Chris:

I work with the Green Building Studio development team and would be happy
to address any issues you may have with using the energy analysis
features. Weather data is available for most locations across the world,
and both SI/IP units are supported. However, there are no support for UK
building codes, though ASHRAE 90.1-2010 baseline is created for Energy Cost
Range analysis.

We are currently providing export of EnergyPlus IDF (version 8.3) of Revit
models. You can use EnergyPlus cloud to perform annual simulations and
zone loads summary for equipment sizing. Revit 2016 includes automatic
zoning features (core/perimeter) which you will find a significant
improvement if you are exporting gbXML.

Please feel free to contact me directly at Krishnan.gowri at autodesk.com, if
you have any other questions.

Thanks Krishnan

UK building codes are problematic for developers - software has to be
third party accredited, but virtually all the government funding to
accomplish this has been withdrawn. It's 'De facto' closed to new
applicants.

On the other hand, very interested in E+ capabilities, SI unit support
is reassuring and the core/ perimeter zoning sounds helpful.

Can I export to Energyplus stand-alone with 2016? What if I want to do
something weird that gbs doesn't support?

Kind regards

Chris
