Sorry if this is a very naive question, I'm a totally newbie to the
field, and I've already unsuccessfully exhausted web search...

Do you know of any database that can be used to simulate the costs of
the materials used in the construction of a given building?
An excel spreadsheet, a text file, or even a program/website that can
be queried via some input arguments...?!

ps: I know this kind of information is very region- and
time-dependent... for the moment I don't care about it being very
precise and up-to-date, I just want to have some sample data.
