Construction Assignment Error

Hello everyone!

Whilst doing some quality control reporting, the following popped up:

To put this image into words, the Quality Control Reports that many of the
constructions have multiple component types assigned to them.

Do you know what this possible error means?

Thanks

Hi Darryl,

I?m not sure exactly, but perhaps this means for a given construction, you have 2 or three types of surfaces using the same construction: i.e. walls/roofs/floors/interior surfaces/etc?

I?m not aware of whether there is any solid documentation or further explanation for the different cautions/warnings that pop up with the QC reporting tool.

Hi Darryl,

I think this is some other software than equest.
But as far as my understanding is concerned Nick is correct.
I also think that you have assigned two three components to wall or glazing.
The component can be the default or make of the assignments.
The assignments can be the properties having components or assignments.
So kindly assign or link the proper assignments to the building envelope so
that the proper U valued or property having assignments can be singly
linked to proper building envelope.

For this you will have to have a look at the make or sectional drawings of
building envelope and then have the make to assign it to the proper surface
or building envelope. These construction can be singly linked to the
envelope in equest. There can not be two building envelope assignments at
one time. This is not the means.

*Thanks,*
